How SNA Can Help Professionals

Welcome to the Special Needs Alliance

The Special Needs Alliance is a national, non-profit organization committed to helping individuals with disabilities, their families, and the professionals who represent them. Our attorneys are some of the most credentialed public benefits and disability law attorneys in the country, many of whom are themselves parents and siblings of children with disabilities.

Individuals with disabilities, their families, as well as professionals who represent them, face a host of unique legal issues and other challenges unfamiliar to most of their peers:

The SNA Helps Families

"What services and programs are available to support individuals with disabilities in the community?"

"How will I pay for services like physical therapy, medications, medical treatment, and transportation?"

"Who manages the money my family member received as part of a litigation recovery or direct inheritance?"

The SNA Helps Professionals

"Is a Special Needs Trust needed for my client, who has a disability and has received a personal injury settlement, to preserve the client's public benefit?"

"How can a personal injury settlement be structured to protect the public benefits of my client?"

"Should a family member or financial institution be a Trustee of the Special Needs Trust?"
